At a scheduled session of Farghona district electoral commission No 11 for the elections of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the issue of confirming the composition of precinct electoral commission in the territory of the district was considered.

The district electoral commission considered the proposed composition of electoral commissions, and on the basis of requirements specified in the law, the district commission adopted a decision to confirm the composition of these commissions in 980 electoral precincts.

Officials working in the spheres of education and health care, at enterprises and organizations, respected and possessing organizational capabilities and high political awareness and deeply understanding the essence and significance of socio-economic reforms being implemented have become members of precinct electoral commissions.

In these precinct electoral commissions in the district, there are many women, active representatives of nongovernmental and non-commercial organizations and employees of mass media.

At a press conference held for employees of mass media, the chairman of Farghona district electoral commission No 11, N.Sobirov, provided detailed information about work being carried out by the commission.

The issue of media coverage of election campaign processes was also discussed.
