In the Tashkent house of photographs of the Art Academy of Uzbekistan, prominent artist Imyar Mansurov’s exhibition entitled “Ancient Turon’s glorious past” has opened.

In the Tashkent house of photographs of the Art Academy of Uzbekistan, prominent artist Imyar Mansurov’s exhibition entitled “Ancient Turon’s glorious past” has opened.

This exhibition was arranged by the Art Academy of Uzbekistan, the Kamoliddin Behzod national artistry and design institute and the Tashkent house of photographs.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by people engaged in visual arts, art experts, teachers and students.

The chairman of the Art Academy of Uzbekistan, A.Nuriddinov; the rector of the Kamoliddin Behzod national artistry and design institute, H.Aminov; academicians A.Mirzayev and B.Burmakin and others spoke about the creative and teaching activities of prominent artist Imyar Mansurov and the diversity of his works.

The services of such eminent artists as Rahim Ahmedov and Vladimir Burmakin were incomparable in the thorough learning of art techniques by Imyar Mansurov.

Imyar Mansurov, 70, not only enthusiastically works on artistic creation but also teaches students at the Kamoliddin Behzod national artistry and design institute today.

Imyar Mansurov has studied ancient Turon’s culture and glorious past and is creating a number of works of art on this theme. At today’s exhibition, works of art created by him over many years are on display. They depict historical episodes.

In pictures entitled “Golden man”, “Amir Temur”, “Afrosiyob”, “The Silk Road”, “Returning with victory”, “Tomaris”, “Afrosiyob’s princess” and “Bibi-Khanym”, Turon’s glorious history is skilfully depicted in great detail and colour.

At the exhibition, more than 50 works by the artist are on display.
