Tashkent’s Sergeli district khokimiyat hosted a practical conversation dedicated to explaining to women the essence and meaning of President’s Address to the Parliament and issues of implementation of priority tasks by the Women's Wing of the Executive Committee of the Political Council of Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businesspeople – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan and Faction of the Party in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
Leader of the party A. Khaitov noted that the Address of the Head of the state to the Oliy Majlis is aimed at further development of the country. In particular, this important document outlines tasks for further development of social sphere, creating decent living conditions for people, solving social problems in regions, supporting youth and women's entrepreneurship.
In this regard, special attention will be paid to solving social problems in the regions, supporting youth and women's entrepreneurship, in particular, wide opportunities will be created for providing microfinance services and financial resources, public procurement. These measures will increase people's desire to engage in business activities and they will strive to obtain a high income.
It was noted that ensuring tasks outlined in the Address places a great responsibility on Women's Wing. The party has set itself the goal of providing direct assistance to women, housewives and youth at the beginning of their business activities, providing benefits and creating new jobs through this.
It was emphasized that the party and its faction in the Legislative Chamber will be active in development of the draft law on foundations of social entrepreneurship and measures to stimulate it. For this purpose, it is necessary to get specific proposals by discussing the draft law among the population.
Entrepreneurs, representatives of business community and public spoke with deputies, expressed their suggestions and opinions about business activities.
Exhibition of products of women entrepreneurs operating in Sergeli district was held. Entrepreneurs held a job fair, thanks to which 30 unemployed women of the district were employed.
