A scientific theoretical conference has taken place at the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan on ways of improving the teaching of social sciences.

Representatives of state and public organizations, teachers, social scientists, researchers and students attended the event arranged together with the history institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the “Yetakchi” youth centre of the independent institute for monitoring civil society formation and a number of other organizations.

It has been noted that a great deal of work being implemented under the leadership of President Islam Karimov on bringing up a generation that is second to none is producing weighty results.

At the conference, a lot of attention was paid to issues of introducing innovations in education and in improving methods of teaching social sciences.
