Import of electric vehicles increases by 4.5 times
In January-June 2022, Uzbekistan imported 1,125 electric vehicles from 10 foreign countries worth $34.1 million.
Imports of electric vehicles increased by 875 units, or 4.5 times, compared to the corresponding period in 2021.
In 6 months of 2022, Uzbekistan imported electric vehicles from China (983), UAE (73), Germany (27), Hong Kong (25), Lithuania (6) and Estonia (2).
