Implementation of the Constitutional Principle: National and Foreign Experience

Urgench hosted an International Conference on the “Implementation of the Constitutional Principle “Person – Society – State”: National and Foreign Experience”.

The event was organized according to the work plan of the Constitutional Commission on the formation of proposals for introducing amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the implementation of organizational measures with the support of the National Center of Uzbekistan for Human Rights, “Center for Sustainable Development” NGO, the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the Delegation of the European Union to Uzbekistan.

It is aimed at studying and discussing national and foreign experience in implementing the principles of human exaltation, respect for his rights, freedoms and legitimate interests, his honor and dignity, the noble idea of “The state is for the person”, “It is not the people who should serve the state bodies, but the state bodies that should serve the people”, the development of comprehensively substantiated proposals to consolidate these principles in legislation and practice.

At the conference, a comparative analysis of the constitutional development of foreign countries and Uzbekistan was carried out. The draft Urgench Declaration was adopted based on the expressed opinions.
