The Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea hosted a meeting with the leadership of the Korea – Central Asia Cooperation Forum Secretariat.

At the meeting, views were exchanged on the implementation of joint projects. The parties discussed future activities planned for implementation through the Secretariat.

The parties noted with satisfaction that joint projects regularly implemented in cooperation with the Embassy and the Secretariat in the economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres serve to strengthen friendly relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea.

It was stated that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Korea and the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Korea – Central Asia Cooperation Forum.

The Korean side showed great interest in establishing mutually beneficial relations with the research and analytical centers of Uzbekistan.

The Secretariat expressed gratitude for the constant assistance provided by the Embassy in its activities.

The parties confirmed their commitment to further enhancing fruitful cooperation in all areas of interest and agreed to work closely in the preparation of the upcoming events at various levels.
