On December 8, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov has held a meeting with the General Manager of Mitsubishi Corporation Yasunori Sakamoto and Senior Manager of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries project Takenori Tamaru, via videoconference.

At the meeting, issues of timely implementation of joint investment projects in Uzbekistan in the energy and chemical industries, in particular, the project for organizing the production of ammonia and urea at Navoiazot, were discussed.

The parties also discussed issues on the agenda of the upcoming high-level joint events, which will further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.

An agreement was reached to continue maintaining close contacts for ensuring high-quality and timely implementation of joint investment projects in the country, as well as identifying new promising areas of cooperation.
