This was the theme of the Second Uzbekistan International Poverty Reduction Forum in Tashkent.

The Center for Economic Research and Reforms, in cooperation with the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan with the support of the UNDP and the Representative Office of UNICEF in Uzbekistan, organized the Forum.

The event was attended by over 200 experts from international organizations to combat poverty.

The forum aims to study the world's best practices and methods of combating poverty, develop an integrated approach to poverty reduction, and form priority areas for joint research focusing on social protection and targeted assistance.

To further popularize the experience of developing countries, participants considered Uzbekistan's methods in implementing appropriate measures to combat poverty, as well as the results of work in this direction.
