Immune-boosting milk production launched in Uzbekistan
13:53 / 2023-08-14

Immune-boosting milk, a unique product that can neutralize coronavirus, went on sale in the country. This has been reported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The production and sale of dairy products with the ability to disinfect SARS-CoV-2 have been established by the Panaev Farms enterprise operating in Nukus.

Research on the Immune Milk Project was launched in 2021 by the International Center for Molecular Allergology and the Medical University of Vienna.

As an experiment, purebred cows imported from Austria and Germany were vaccinated at Panaev Farms with three Uzbekistan – Chinese ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine doses.

In 2022, the results of the analysis of the milk of these cows showed that after the second dose of the vaccine, antibodies neutralizing the virus were produced in the milk two weeks later.

In October 2022, Panaev Farms pilot-launched a technological line for producing pasteurized milk in small volumes under the Immune Milk trademark.

The prestigious journal Frontiers in Nutrition has published a scientific article on the results of a new generation of immune milk.

According to experts, this new product is essential in the context of the WHO statement about the rapid spread of a new variant of the Eris omicron strain.
