Jizzakh hosted an event, dedicated to cooperation of internal affairs bodies and non-governmental non-profit organizations in the fight against illegal migration, improvement of order of traveling abroad and returning the country of our compatriots who went to work abroad and found themselves in a difficult situation.
The event, organized by the regional khokimiyat, departments of Internal Affairs, Justice, together with authorized state organizations, was attended by representatives of law enforcement agencies, regional Women’s Committee, Department of Agency for External Labor Migration, departments of public, secondary special, professional education, health, public organizations.
Issues of preventing illegal migration, improvement of the system of entry and exit abroad, as well as, provision of socio-legal assistance to victims of trafficking were discussed.
The sides exchanged views on the results achieved in prevention of illegal labor migration, strengthening cooperation of public authorities and NGOs on issues of strengthening spiritual-enlightenment propaganda.
The participants, divided into groups, attended the workshops on consequences of illegal migration and human trafficking. During the practical training, presentation of measures for social rehabilitation and identification of victims was held.
