Tashkent hosted a general meeting of the International Kurash Association (IKA).

IKA President Haider Farman, announced that Umid Yakubov, Secretary General of the International Kurash Association, resigned due to a transfer to another job. IKA Technical Director Mohammad Reza Nasiri has been appointed IKA Acting Secretary General until next year’s elections.

Umid Yakubov was the Secretary General of the International Kurash Association for almost 22 years.
