IICA, MGIMO heads outline steps of interaction

The Director of the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA), Anvar Nasirov, has met with the Vice-Rector of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) Artem Malgin, in Moscow.

According to IICA, the meeting was also attended by the Director of the Institute for International Studies Andrey Sushentsov and MGIMO Director of the Center for Eurasian Studies Ivan Safranchuk.

The parties discussed the prospects for establishing cooperation. Concrete steps for further interaction were outlined. The meeting participants also considered the possibilities of holding joint events in both bilateral and multilateral formats. Views were exchanged on the current situation in the Central Asia region and on the Eurasian continent.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the preparation of a Cooperation Agreement and a roadmap for its implementation.
