The International Institute for Central Asia hosted a meeting with the Director General of the Indian Council of World Affairs, Ambassador Vijay Thakur Singh.

Ambassador Vijay Thakur Singh expressed high praise for the robust relations between India and Central Asia.

“We value our relations very much and know their historical depth. Central Asia has always remained an important political region for us”, she said.

The parties presented a comprehensive overview of the main directions of foreign policy in the countries and discussed the activities of their institutions.

The Ambassador expressed hope for further enhancing cooperation between organizations in priority research areas.
