During the EU – Central Asia Think Tank Forum, a meeting took place between Javlon Vakhabov, Director of the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA), and Samuel Doveri Vesterbye, Managing Director of the European Neighbourhood Council (ENC).

During the discussions, Mr. Vesterbye emphasized the importance of the forum as a regular platform for exchanging ideas, knowledge, and cutting-edge research. He also highlighted that strengthening institutional ties between think tanks facilitates a deeper understanding of regional dynamics and enables the development of joint recommendations on critical issues.

The parties emphasized the importance of expanding analytical dialogue, enhancing coordination of research activities, and introducing new mechanisms for collaboration.

The meeting concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between IICA and the ENC, laying a solid foundation for a long-term partnership and further strengthening expert cooperation.

The parties expressed their mutual readiness to continue expert interaction and implement joint initiatives aimed at deepening collaboration.
