During the scientific and practical conference “Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan: Synergy of Strategic Partnership”, the leaders of the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA) Javlon Vakhabov and the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic (NISI) Sanjar Mukanbetov signed a Cooperation Agreement.

The document’s signing aims to establish direct scientific and research ties to develop specific joint proposals and initiatives to expand relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The agreement provides for such forms of cooperation as organizing mutual visits, joint participation in events of a regional or international nature, discussion of current issues of mutual relations, and current trends in world politics and economics through the joint holding of scientific conferences, workshops, roundtable discussions, and expert group meetings.
