“Iceberg” – for export
BIG Agro LLC started to export “Iceberg” lettuce, grown on 100 hectares of Mirishkor and Kasbin districts of Kashkadarya region.
BIG Agro LLC started to export “Iceberg” lettuce, grown on 100 hectares of Mirishkor and Kasbin districts of Kashkadarya region.The sort of “Iceberg” lettuce is similar to white cabbage, its leaves are not very dense. The weight of one head of lettuce is 800 grams – 1 kilogram. This kind of lettuce is rich in vitamins A, C, E and B, as well as contains such useful elements as potassium, phosphorus, iron. The leaves of the lettuce differ with pleasant taste.
In each region there are agricultural subsidiaries of BIG – “Brand Investment Group” group of companies. BIG Agro LLC, operating in Kashkadarya region, is one of such subsidiary dehkan farms.
As representatives of the company noted, almost 500 people are engaged in temporary work during the cultivation of lettuce. At the same time, Cayan hot pepper is grown on 2.1 thousand hectares of BIG Agro LLC in Mirishkor and Karshi districts.
This pepper will be exported to the countries of Asia and Europe in dried form.
