The event, organized in order to strengthen trade-economic relations, further development of cooperation, was attended by the heads of ministries, agencies and companies of both countries responsible for foreign economic relations, trade, investment, food, textiles, electronic products, healthcare, pharmaceuticals.

Deputy Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan E.Ganiyev, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry A.Ikramov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Uzbekistan P.Santo addressed the opening ceremony of the forum, organized at the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the State Investment Committee.

Cooperation between the two countries is developing in trade-economic, industrial, energy, agricultural, construction, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and many other industries.

The forum was attended by representatives of about 20 leading companies of Hungary, which indicates the interest of this country in cooperation with Uzbekistan.

During the visit, B2B meeting was also organized. Documents on projects of mutually beneficial cooperation were signed.
