Uzbekistan’s tennis players Humoyun Sultonov and Sergey Fomin reached the quarterfinals of prestigious tournaments organized by the International Tennis Federation in Belgium and Germany.

Humoyun Sultonov defeated the host country representative Harold Huens with a score of 6:1, 3:6, and 6:1 in the second round of the singles of the M25 Duffel Gonzalez Academy Event in Belgium. In the match for the semifinals, Humoyun will also fight with the host country representative Gilles Bailly.

Sergey Fomin, defending Uzbekistan’s honor at the M15 Saarland Open 2024 Tournament in Germany, beat Peter Goldsteiner from Austria in the second round with a score of 6:4, 6:2. Thus, Uzbekistan’s player, who reached the quarterfinals, will have to play against Mika Lipp from Germany at this stage.
