According to the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, three million foreign citizens came to Uzbekistan in January-August for tourism purposes.

This is 1.5 million more than last year. Most tourists came from Kazakhstan (922.7 thousand), Kyrgyzstan (821.9 thousand), Tajikistan (814.5 thousand) and Russia (316.9 thousand).

45.8 thousand people came to Uzbekistan from Türkiye, 10.9 thousand from South Korea, 10.3 thousand from Germany, 7.8 thousand from the United States.

India – 6.7 thousand, France – 6.4 thousand, Azerbaijan – 6.1 thousand, Israel – 6.6 thousand, the United Kingdom – 6 thousand, Italy – 4.7 thousand and Spain – 3.1 thousand people.
