In January-December 2022, 5.2 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.

According to the State Statistics Committee, this figure increased by 3.4 million people, or 2.8 times, compared with the corresponding period last year.

Citizens of countries that visited Uzbekistan in 2022 for tourism purposes are Kazakhstan (1551.1 thousand), Tajikistan (1447.8 thousand), Kyrgyzstan (1356.9 thousand), Russia (567.7 thousand), Türkiye (75.6 thousand), South Korea (19.9 thousand), Germany (17.7 thousand), India (16.8 thousand), United States (13.1 thousand), France (11 thousand), United Kingdom (10.5 thousand), Azerbaijan (10.4 thousand), Italy (8.8 thousand), Spain (6.3 thousand), China (5.4 thousand).
