The Statistics Agency reports that 56.9 thousand foreign citizens entered the Republic of Uzbekistan for treatment from January to June 2024.

Compared to last year’s corresponding period, their number increased by 24.6 thousand people or 76.4%.

The number of foreign citizens who entered the Republic of Uzbekistan in January-June this year for treatment by country:

Tajikistan – 43,287 people;

Kazakhstan – 6,615 people;

Kyrgyz Republic – 5,485 people;

Russia – 925 people;

Turkmenistan – 462 people;

Türkiye – 23 people;

Afghanistan – 16 people;

Azerbaijan – 9 people;

Ukraine – 8 people;

United States – 7 people;

Other countries – 37 people.
