The Statistics Agency reports that 46.2 thousand foreign citizens entered the Republic of Uzbekistan for treatment from January to May 2024.

Compared to last year’s corresponding period, their number increased by 18.2 thousand people, or 64.8 %.

The number of foreign citizens who entered the Republic of Uzbekistan in January-May this year for treatment by country:

Tajikistan – 34,976 people;

Kazakhstan – 5,480 people;

Kyrgyzstan – 4,501 people;

Russia – 757 people;

Turkmenistan – 378 people;

Türkiye – 20 people;

Afghanistan – 15 people;

Ukraine – 7 people;

Azerbaijan – 6 people;

Moldova – 5 people;

Other countries – 30 people.
