In January-June 2024, 3,530.8 thousand foreign citizens entered the Republic of Uzbekistan for tourism purposes, the Statistics Agency reports.

Their number increased by 415.6 thousand people, or 13.3%, compared to last year.

The number of foreign citizens who entered the Republic of Uzbekistan in January-June this year for tourist purposes by country:

Kyrgyz Republic – 1 057.4 thousand people;

Tajikistan – 1 046.2 thousand people;

Kazakhstan – 668.4 thousand people;

Russia – 364.5 thousand people;

Turkmenistan – 67.2 thousand people;

Türkiye – 51.9 thousand people;

China – 28.7 thousand people;

India – 28.2 thousand people;

South Korea – 19.6 thousand people;

Italy – 17.7 thousand people;

Other countries – 181 thousand people.
