In January-July 2023, 29.1 thousand foreign citizens entered Uzbekistan for commercial purposes, the Statistics Agency reports.

Most foreign citizens entered Uzbekistan from:

Turkmenistan – 16.2 thousand people;

Tajikistan – 8.0 thousand people;

Afghanistan – 0.9 thousand people;

India – 0.6 thousand people;

Kyrgyzstan – 0.5 thousand people;

Türkiye – 0.5 thousand people;

China – 0.5 thousand people;

South Korea – 0.3 thousand people;

USA – 0.2 thousand people;

Iran – 0.2 thousand people.
