In January-August 2024, 157,700 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to Türkiye for tourism purposes.

According to the Statistics Agency, this indicator increased by 28.7 thousand people or 22.3% compared to the corresponding period of last year.

Citizens of Uzbekistan who visited Türkiye in January-August this year according to the purpose of their trip are as follows:

Recreation and leisure – 122,637 people;

Visiting relatives – 29,934 people;

Treatment – 2,403 people;

Study – 1,640 people;

Official – 1,094 people.
