In January-June 2023, 2028.6 thousand citizens left Uzbekistan for tourism purposes, the Statistics Agency reports.

The number of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who left its borders for the purpose of travel:

visiting relatives – 1738.6 thousand people;

recreation and leisure – 248.3 thousand people;

study – 19.5 thousand people;

treatment – 15.3 thousand people;

service – 6.8 thousand people.
