Navruz is not only a holiday of spring and renewal, but also a holiday of hope, kindness and mercy.

These days, when festive events on the occasion of this main spring holiday are being held throughout the country, Andijan city branch of the “Mahalla” Charitable Public Foundation, together with Andijan City Hokimiyat and some state and public organizations, is assisting low-income families, the elderly, people with disability, citizens in need of social protection.

Andijan regional branch of the Society of the Deaf of Uzbekistan hosted the “Welcome, Navruz!” festive event. A concert program was presented with the participation of Andijan City Department of Culture and Tourism art groups.

At the festive event, 62 members of the society were given financial assistance.
