The Hokim of Tashkent region Zoyir Mirzayev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Beibut Atamkulov, in Nurafshan.

The participants highly appreciated the joint economic projects implemented in Uzbekistan together with Kazakhstan, including cooperation in industry, trade, and organization of export-import operations. The $300 million Modern Multimodal Logistics Center project launched by RTS-SA LLC in Yangiyul district at the end of 2022 was emphasized.

At the meeting, tasks were defined for further cooperation in energy, mining, transport and logistics, textile, food, and other industries.
