The Embassy of Uzbekistan has organized virtual talks between the Executive Director and CEO of India’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Santosh Shetty, and Hokim of Bukhara region Batir Zaripov.

The leadership of Bukhara region provided information on the economic potential of the region, the conditions created here for investors. In particular, the need was noted for the creation of modern clinics in the region, including advanced technologies. 

Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital representatives, in turn, noted that after a thorough study of the proposals of the Uzbek side, at the initial stage, it will be decided to send specialists from the Indian clinic to the existing hospitals in Bukhara region to get acquainted with the conditions created in the region in medicine.

Following the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement on establishment of a corresponding joint working group.
