The Agency of Presidential Educational Institutions organized International Educational Forum with the participation of representatives of Cambridge Assessment International Education. Director of the Agency Hilola Umarova spoke about the importance of training for the future of the country and the plans of the Agency.
“Today’s realities require teachers to prepare students for faster economic and social changes, using technologies that have not yet been invented. Teacher training is one of the keys to achieving our goal of preparing global citizens who can compete in the global labor market.
The new curriculum and educational approach being developed by the Agency in collaboration with partner organizations will help teachers in their professional development and the acquisition of new pedagogical skills. At the same time, teachers will have the opportunity to continuously improve their qualifications without leaving their jobs. Cambridge programs were chosen among many other proposals for cooperation. Partners will allow the Agency to access additional resources”, she said.
