High state awards presented in Fergana

By the Presidential decrees announced on the eve of the 32nd Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 32 Fergana residents were awarded the highest state awards – honorary titles, orders, and medals.

High state awards were presented to their holders in Fergana region’s Hokimiyat. At the solemn event, Fergana region’s Hokim Khayrullo Bozorov, on behalf of the residents of the entire region, congratulated the holders who have earned people’s respect thanks to their many years of selfless work and significant contribution to the development of society and expressed his best wishes to them.

The awards were solemnly presented to fellow compatriots. The civil servants and workers in the industrial and socio-economic spheres, science, education, sports, literature, culture, and art figures are among the awardees.

“We are all pleased that the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan are based on noble goals for the elevation of human honor and dignity”, says Zokirjon Rakhmonov, Chairman of the regional branch of “Nuroniy” Foundation, Cavalier of the “Dustlik” (Friendship) Order. – Special attention is paid to the full support of older generation and labor veterans. In Fergana, more than 400 thousand older people are aware of this and are actively participating in reforms. This high award places a great responsibility on me. Such attention encourages me even more and inspires to new achievements”.
