The Union of Writers of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with Sandro Teti, the head of one of the leading publishing houses in Italy, Sandro Teti Editore, specializing in the publication of popular science literature.

The Chairman of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, People’s Poet of Uzbekistan Sirojiddin Sayyid told the guest in detail about the activities carried out in Uzbekistan to strengthen literary and creative ties, translation of the best works into world languages.

The Italian guest was impressed by the measures taken to develop national literature, comprehensive support, and stimulation of creative workers.

The head of the publishing house Sandro Teti Editore, who took part in the Uzbekistan Presidential Election as an international observer, praised the elections, the transformations in the country, and the ongoing educational processes.

It should be noted that the work of our great ancestor Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur “Baburname” published by this publishing house, is distinguished by its high printing quality.

At the meeting, the foreign guest was thoroughly acquainted with the activities of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, the development of international literary relations, and plans. He also visited the Alley of Litterateurs.
