High quality and affordable price are important in the modern construction industry

After the President's visit...

To date, the total number of commissioned houses has reached 326 thousand. This figure, recorded over the past six years of development of the construction industry in Uzbekistan, is quite large.

Speaking about the large-scale landscaping activities carried out in the country, it is also worth noting the construction of social facilities and entrepreneurship throughout the country.

Considering this topic, it is necessary to dwell on the reforms carried out in the field of production of building materials, as well as the conditions created for entrepreneurs.

Hundreds of private customer companies have appeared with the development of market principles in this area. Large clusters for the construction of multi-storey buildings have been formed. The created conditions have opened the doors of great opportunities. The volume of production of the most necessary construction products – gas blocks, cement, granite, tiles – has increased. And the growth of production volumes contributes to lower prices.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s trip to Syrdarya region on April 7 was full of important events. During his visit, the Head of state took part in the launching ceremony of six new enterprises in the region via videoconference.

Among these enterprises there is also the Toshkent City Gold Block LLC of Saykhunabad district. The production capacity of the enterprise is 300 thousand cubic meters of gas units per year.

The widespread use of gas blocks in construction means the introduction of energy-saving modern materials into the field.

“The total cost of this major project is 11 million 500 thousand dollars”, noted the head of the enterprise Akmaljon Buriyev. – For these purposes, foreign direct investment was directed entirely. We have brought and installed the latest equipment from China and Iran at our enterprise. This ensures not only product quality, but also high productivity. We have the opportunity to produce products worth 55 billion UZS annually. Our gas blocks are sold not only in the domestic market, but also sent to neighboring countries. It is expected that this year the volume of exports will amount to $1 million.

One of the important aspects is that 100 young Syrdarya people are employed at the new enterprise.

Special attention is paid to the implementation of similar large-scale projects in Tashkent, Bukhara and Andijan regions. This, of course, will serve the further development of the construction industry in Uzbekistan.
