The Surkhondaryo Regional stage of the “high-morality generation” republican festival has taken place in Termiz.

The festival was arranged by the republican morality propagation centre in cooperation with the regional hokimiyat (governorate). More than 200 students of academic lyceums, vocational colleges and general education schools participated in the festival.

Participants of various age groups competed in such nominations as “those with knowledge about works written by the President”, “artistic creation”, “expert on the history of independence”, “the most talented craftsman”, “those singing of the Motherland” and “high-morality generation”.

Within the framework of the event, festival participants’ items of craftsmanship, works of visual and applied arts and results of scientific research were displayed.

25 participants who scored the highest number of points will be taking part in the republican phase of the festival.
