The “Tinchlik” Small Industrial Zone in Yangiyul district occupies a special place in the economy of Tashkent region. The enterprises operating here produce localized products that are in demand on the market.

With the growth of the population and economy, the demand for energy sources is growing. For example, over the past four years, electricity consumption in Tashkent region has increased by 20 percent. To cover the deficit in this area, 5 projects are being implemented with a total cost of $1.5 billion and a capacity of more than 805 megawatts.

At the same time, much attention is paid to green energy sources. The Enter Green Solar enterprise in the “Tinchlik” Small Industrial Zone produces solar panels and cables necessary for solar energy.

The Head of state got acquainted with this project during his visit to the industrial zone.

“We must support domestic enterprises producing such high-tech products and create even more conditions for expanding their activities”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

The enterprise, worth $7 million, has equipment from the Italian company Ecoprogetti. The plant produces 377,000 high-quality solar panels per year and has 125-kilowatt panels. It employs 100 people.
