People who fought for peace in our land deserve the highest attention and respect, because they are real heroes.

The memory of those who gave their lives on this path is sacred. Our people respect the memory of thousands of our compatriots who died on the fiery fronts of the Second World War.

In addition, our fellow citizens who returned alive from the war, who worked behind the front line, overcame the hard years of trials and who are alive and are near us are in constant honor and respect.

The resolution of the President of the country “On measures for preparation and holding events for the Day of Memory and Honor” of April 23 this year serves as an important guide to action in this direction.
