Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a roundtable discussion with the participation of ambassadors and trade advisers of diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan and representatives of the domestic textile industry. The meeting took place at Uzbekistan-Korea Textile Technopark.

More than 15 ambassadors and trade advisers became acquainted with Uzbekistan’s textile industry potential, achievements of the industry in recent years.

Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association held a presentation of the industry with an emphasis on cooperation for each foreign country by the department. The diplomats spoke about opportunities for developing cooperation with foreign countries, problems in organizing bilateral meetings with foreign companies, and the potential for increasing mutually beneficial cooperation.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed on further steps to implement the tasks.
