Tashkent hosted a meeting of the heads of structural divisions of the defense agencies of the SCO member states responsible for international military cooperation.

The meeting, which was chaired by the Uzbek side since February 28, was also attended by representatives of the defense agencies of India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia and Tajikistan.

The participants considered issues related to the preparations for the upcoming Meeting of Defense Ministers of the SCO member states on 27-28 April in Tashkent.

The parties also exchanged views on draft documents that are planned to be submitted for approval during the upcoming meeting.
