Heads and officials of several international organizations address the International Conference “Afghanistan: Security and Economic Development”, which takes place in the Congress Hall of Tashkent City International Business Center.

Representatives of the UN, FAO, the European Union, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Economic Cooperation Organization addressed the event. They noted that the initiative of Uzbekistan to attract the attention of the global community to Afghanistan through an international conference deserves high recognition.

Humanitarian and infrastructure projects aimed at restoring economic stability in neighboring Afghanistan will be presented at the conference.
