A delegation led by the Commissioner of Korea Customs Service Jae Hyeon Lim completed his visit to Uzbekistan.

The delegation met with the Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan, Major General Murotjon Azimov, during which they discussed the current state of cooperation and identified further concrete steps to enhance interaction between the customs authorities of the two countries.

The parties also discussed issues of cooperation between the customs authorities of the two countries in personnel training, as well as the exchange of experience in customs control and examination, risk management, countering smuggling and customs audit.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of cooperation and exchange of experience in professional training was signed between the State Customs Committee and Korea Customs Service.

The guests got acquainted with the Situation Center of the State Customs Committee, the Museum of the History of Customs, and visited Samarkand.
