Uzbekistan’s talented boxer Hasanboy Dusmatov won the gold medal at the XXXI Summer Olympic Games in Rio.

Competing in the men’s light-flyweight (46-49 kg), Hasanboy Dusmatov had defeated Mexico's Joselito Velazquez, Kazakhstan’s Birzhan Zhakypov and Nico Miguel Hernandez of the USA, securing a place in the final.

In the final fight for the gold medal of the Olympic Games, Hasanboy won Yuberjen Martinez of Colombia and raised to the top of the podium.

The national flag of Uzbekistan was raised and the state anthem was played in honor of our athlete.
