A critical fight for the second place in professional boxing in the IBF super lightweight rankings has been announced for Hasanboy Dusmatov, the world amateur boxing champion and two-time Olympic champion.

Uzbekistan’s Hasanboy Dusmatov will fight on October 25-26 in Bishkek against Rene Calixto from Mexico. The fight will take place in the super lightweight weight category (50.8 kg) and will serve as an eliminator.

The 32-year-old Dusmatov has fought 7 professional boxing matches and won all of them. His opponent, Rene Calixto, has 23 wins, a loss, and a draw.

Uzbekistan’s boxer is ranked eighth, and Calixto is seventh in the IBF super lightweight rankings.
