Hokim of Fergana region Khayrullo Bozorov received a delegation led by the Chairman of the Board of South Korea’s Hanshin Engineering & Construction Company Choi Yong-Sun.
The project of creating a Korean company in Kokand town Hanshin Park City was discussed at the meeting.
As part of the visit of Fergana delegation to Korea in March this year, an investment agreement worth $250 million was signed for the construction of the Hanshin Park City in Kokand. According to the agreement, the Korean company will build 127 multi-storey buildings. These will be 9-, 12- and 16-storey buildings with 5 thousand 122 apartments, townhouses, a central park, schools, kindergartens and other social facilities. Modern parking lots for more than 5 thousand cars will be located in the basements of high-rise buildings. 6 nine-storey houses with 206 apartments will be built at the pilot stage of the 3-year project.
The participants exchanged views on the preparation for construction. As a result of the expansion of the territory of the city of Kokand, based on the instructions of the Senate, it is expected to approve the changes made to the general plan of the city. It is determined that after that they will start implementing the project.
During the visit, representatives of Hanshin Engineering & Construction plan to explore investment opportunities in the tourism, logistics and real estate sectors of the region.
