Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea Vitaly Fen has met with the Chairman of Korea’s Hanshin Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. Choi Yong-Sun.

Hanshin Engineering leadership has announced its intention to invest in major projects in Uzbekistan. In particular, it plans to build Kokand City in Fergana region, as well as a golf club worth $800 million in Samarkand region.

Together with the Ministry of Construction of Uzbekistan, the company is also working on the creation of a unique in the region joint design institute. The scope of activities, the main financial and economic indicators are yet to be determined.
