At the para-athletics competitions of the 4th Asian Para Games, Uzbekistan’s standard-bearer Nurkhon Kurbonova won the second medal.

N. Kurbonova in the women’s javelin throwing competition in class F54, with a result of 18.95 meters, updated the record of the Asian Para Games and won a gold medal. Previously, she won a silver medal in the shot put competition.

Asila Mirzayorova, who participated in the women’s 200-meter race in the T11 class, won a bronze medal.

Previously, the athlete was awarded a gold medal in the long jump competition.

Thus, the number of medals of the Uzbekistan delegation reached 20 gold, 19 silver and 23 bronze.
