The first winners of the Hand to Hand Fighting World Championship, which was held for the first time among adults at Yunusobod Sports Complex, have been identified.

Olimjon Normurodov (up to 70 kg) defeated all his rivals and won the gold medal, while Maftuna Quvondiqova, who defended the honor of the country in the weight category up to 55 kg, became the world champion.

Nargiza Nazirkulova, Sabrina Rajabova, Javokhir Sabitov, Jakhongir Jumayev won silver, Shirinoy Zokhidova and Bekzod Atajonov won the bronze medals in their weight categories.

14 matches of the World Championship will be held today.
