Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who participated in the First Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, completed his visit to Samarkand.

The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other officials saw off the distinguished guest at Samarkand International Airport. 

As previously reported, an award ceremony took place following the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States.

It was noted that the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also has a special contribution to strengthening the friendship and partnership between the two countries. In this regard, it was decided to award him with the Supreme Order of the Turkic World. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented the award to its owner.
