Uzbekistan’s freestyle wrestler Gulomjon Abdullayev (-57 kg) had a quarterfinal match at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. He fough against Zaur Uguyev from Russia, the winner of the last two World Championships.

The Russian wrestler snatched victory in the last seconds. If the Russian athlete reaches the final, Gulomjon Abdullayev will compete for the bronze medal.
