Guest houses should be promoted on social networks
Samarkand hosted a training workshop on: “Hospitality in the Digital World: Learning effective SMM promotion for family guest houses”.
The event was organized by the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) with the support of the Committee on Tourism under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Samarkand Region’s Tourism Department.

The workshop was organized within the framework of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) project to Strengthen Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development. It aims to teach effective service promotion methods in digital space to attract tourists and improve service quality.
The participants received practical skills and knowledge on developing their marketing materials and strategies for their promotion.
